Farm Timer/Proposal
From Open Source Resilient Living
There are 3 stages to this project:
- First stage will be a relatively simple timer for industrial uses.
- Second stage will be a multi channel sequencer with more technical features like remote triggering.
- Third stage will involve a real time clock and possibly wireless abilities primarily for embedding into other circuits.
Stage 1
- One channel with 2 poles (2PDT mechanical relay)
- Simple controls - ON/OFF, START(trigger), RESET, HOLD?
- Digital display (7 segment LED)
- Industrial enclosure/water resistant
- Looping function, ON time/OFF time
- Able to drive a large industrial contactor or relay (10 amp)
- 12 Volt powered
- Adruino controlled
- Addendum features like keyboard, remote triggers
Stage 2
- 6 channel
- Sound board like controls
- Designed for complex situations
- Easy to setup
- Remote and loop triggering
- 15 amp internal contacts
- 12 volt powered
- Arduino controlled
Stage 3
- Multi-channel
- Real time clock for time of day triggers
- Solid state switching
- Designed for embedded applications
- low voltage source
- Arduino controlled
